Shipping policy

LEAD TIME
To assure the quality of our pieces, every Stone Forest item is finished to order. Once finished, we'll ship your order by UPS or LTL (freight) carrier as quoted on your order. Transit times vary based on your location. From Santa Fe, New Mexico, most orders will be delivered within 2-6 business days.

DELIVERY -
UPS orders ship via Ground. You can generally expect your order to arrive within 2-7 business days upon receipt of shipping from our workshop. Please inspect items upon arrival and notify us immediately of shortages or damage.

FREIGHT -
We work with two of our most trusted freight carriers, ABF and R&L, to deliver our heavier items. Upon shipment, these carriers will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. You will need an adult on-site to accept the shipment.

Our carriers will drop your order at your curb, but will not bring it any closer. Lift gate service is not available for individual items over 2000 pounds. You will need a way on-site to offload the truck. We do our best to pack orders to allow for lift gate service.

Orders will arrive on standard freight trucks. Deliveries in some locations are not possible. Extremely narrow roads, areas with low overhanging trees and powerlines, and dirt roads can cause delivery issues. If you are concerned about your location, reach out to us, and we can confirm deliverability. We can also ship directly to the freight terminals for pick up by your contractor or landscaper.

SHIPPING RATES
As one of the largest independent shippers in New Mexico, we've negotiated low rates that include services typically charged out as extras by other companies. These include lift-gate deliveries and residential deliveries at no extra charge, as well as advance notification. Our shipping rates are figured on total weight and delivery address. If, for some reason, our online shipping quote system does not return a cost, please call or email us, and we'll be happy to help.
