Limestone is a unique natural material formed over millions of years from compacted shells and skeletal fragments. As such, it is inherently variable in color, texture, and composition. Fossil inclusions, color variations, and surface voids are natural characteristics of this stone.
Our bathtubs are sculpted from monumental blocks of this
incredible material, and any surface voids are filled by our
craftsmen using a custom blend of ground limestone and epoxy,
which we color-match as closely as possible to the surrounding
stone.
By approving the design and emailed tub photos, you
acknowledge and accept these natural variations as part of the
material's unique character. If this level of natural variation is not
acceptable for your project, we recommend considering an
alternative material.
